Extended Desktop Support for Dual HDMI Displays The HT-DSCV3-RX-V2 supports extended desktop functionality with independent AV content on both HDMI outputs, enabling a dual-display setup for expanded workspace and increased productivity. The HT-DSCV3 family features Power over HDBaseT (POH), allowing the extender to be powered from either the TX or RX side. When the TX is connected to local power, its built-in PSE provides up to 60W of USB-C power to the connected laptop. Built-in control pass-through enables users to control the source from the display location or the display from the source location. NOTE: The DisplayLink driver is required for the laptop to send video to the HT-DSCV3-RX-V2. For most Windows laptops, the DisplayLink driver is typically already installed. Laptops running macOS, Chrome OS, Linux, or Android require the driver to be installed.

These extenders support the USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 standard, offering data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s while maintaining backward compatibility with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1 specifications. Engineered for efficiency and convenience, the HT-DSCV3-RX-V2 features Power over HDBT (POH) technology, allowing the extender system to be powered from only one side—either the transmitter (TX) or receiver (RX). The transmitter’s built-in PSE module, when locally powered, delivers up to 60W charging to host devices via USB-C, making it an excellent solution for power-hungry setups.
